Our client initially debated between 14K yellow gold and 14K white gold. After discussing the properties of both metals, they ultimately chose yellow gold for the following reasons:

✔ Classic Appeal: Yellow gold is immediately recognized as solid gold, whereas white gold and sterling silver can appear similar in color.

✔ Allergy Considerations: The client had previously experienced mild skin irritation from white gold. We explained that white gold comes in two main alloys:

• Nickel-based white gold (more affordable but may cause allergic reactions).
• Palladium-based white gold (hypoallergenic but more expensive and challenging to work with).
  
  Given their past experience and preference, yellow gold was the perfect choice.

To ensure the design and size were just right, we created a resin model for the client. This allowed them to see, hold, and feel the ring before giving final approval.

The final casting exceeded expectations. As requested, the ring has no visible openings for the ashes, resulting in a seamless and polished appearance. Once we received the ashes, we carefully placed them inside and permanently sealed the ring to keep them safe and secure.
