How do I submit my fingerprint?

How can I take my own thumbprint?
Upon processing your order, we send a fingerprint collection kit with everything needed. Alternatively, you can create your thumbprint using an ink pad and paper or notecard. Press your thumb firmly on the ink pad, then stamp it directly down and up on the paper without rolling. For further details, view our guide.

Can you engrave a thumbprint on the back as well?
Yes, we can engrave a thumbprint on the back. Search for "jk9000" or click here.

Can I substitute a thumbprint with a pawprint, pet nose print, or footprint?
Yes, we can engrave paw prints, pet nose prints, or footprints in place of a thumbprint.

How do I care for my jewelry?
Remove your jewelry before swimming or bathing. Clean monthly with a jeweler’s polishing cloth to keep it looking its best.

How do I obtain a thumbprint from someone who has passed away?
Many funeral homes and crematoriums keep thumbprints of the deceased. Alternative methods are discussed here.

Can I combine prints from multiple people into one image?
Yes, we can engrave combined prints from two or more individuals into one design.

Is custom design available?

Do you engrave the entire fingerprint?
We typically select a portion of the fingerprint that best fits the pendant's shape. If you prefer the entire fingerprint to be engraved, please mention it in the Order Comments box at checkout.

How deep is the engraving, and can it be felt?
The engraving is deep enough for you to feel the fingerprint ridges.

Can I add a personal text engraving to the back?
In most cases personal text engraving is available on the back of the jewelry.

Can you apply a protective coating to prevent tarnishing?
